PRECISION REVERSE ENGINEERING FROM SCAN → CAD → VERIFIED PROTOTYPE

When a customer needed accurate, production-ready drawings for a complex extrusion profile—but had no digital files—we handled the entire reverse-engineering pipeline internally at Technast.

Using our 0.02 mm high-precision 3D scanning system, we captured every contour of the original part. The scan data was then reconstructed into a clean, parametric CAD model, with all critical dimensions re-measured and validated using multiple methods to ensure accuracy.

To verify the geometry before manufacturing, we produced high-resolution 3D-printed prototypes in several materials. Each print was matched against the original component, confirming that the final drawings were fully accurate and ready for downstream production, tooling, or fabrication.

This project shows how fast and reliable full-cycle reverse engineering can be when scanning, CAD, measurement, and prototyping happen under one roof.
